AZNEWAGE ENCYCLOPEDIA

It is thought that the narration at the beginning of Genesis is just an allegory, not to be taken literally.  But it is a true account, it is just not talking about what most people think it is talking about.   The first chapters of Genesis are not speaking of the creation of the Earth and a single man and a single woman.  Genesis 1:2 makes it clear that they are not talking about planet Earth.  In these pages we will present to you what it is all about. IF you have not yet read  ADAM, read it now.

        CHRISTIAN VERSION

                HEBREW TEXT      WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

CHAPTER 2

21: And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22: And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23: And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

CHAPTER 3

6: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7: And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

20: And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

21: Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

GENESIS 2

21: And the LORD Jehovah caused a trance to fall upon mankind and he slept, and he took of his coverings and carefully covered her lack with color and form.

22: And the LORD Jehovah returned the coverings which he had taken from mankind to shape the woman and brought her to Adam.

23: And Adam said, this is actually the substance and shape of my being, He named her female because she was taken from the will of the male.

GENESIS 3

6: And the female did see the natural growth was both good to the senses, and greatly pleasing to the eyes, a growth to make one wise. and she took some fruit from it and did eat it, and she also chose to give it to the mind within her, and he did feed upon it.

7: And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were void of light and that they were covered with a thick veil formed of sadness and mourning. and they made cries of "alas".

20: And Adam called his mate Eve, because she was the mother of all life.

21: And the LORD Jehovah carefully covered mankind and his mate with a physical shell.

Now Eve is the astral, more physical, part of Adam/Christ who is the source of everything.  God determined that alone, Adam was of little value, so he cut him in half and made the new half open to color, shape and form.   Eve was thus able to see and experience the astral world on a sensual level that Adam could not.  Thus when she saw the fruits of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil she saw that it would be good for them

She partook of it and, of course, Adam partook of it through her.  Now much of the narration of Genesis is added to make a nice fable.   Thus we have Adam and Eve hiding from God and God walking in the Garden in the cool of the day.

What did occur was that upon partaking of the fruit, Adam and Even began to experience desire and aversions (the knowledge of good and evil), this quickly led to a state of shame and guilt.  Thus they separated themselves from God.  This "Sin of Adam" comes upon each of us when we are taught to believe in and experience good and evil.

Eve is Mother Nature, the soul of all physical and astral creation
